๐น The acoustic scale, also known as the Lydian Dominant scale, the Lydian b7 scale or the overtone scale, is a 7-note scale that's based on the Lydian mode and is also the 4th mode of the melodic minor scale. Compared to the Lydian mode, the acoustic scale has a flat 7th scale degree to arrive at the following interval formula: 1 - 2 - 3 - #4 - 5 - 6 - b7.
