    The D augmented 7th chord, abbreviated as Daug7 or D+7, has the notes D, F♯, A♯ and C. The 3 inversions to the D augmented 7th chord are F♯ A♯ C D, A♯ C D F♯ and C D F♯ A♯.

    In the root position, the D augmented chord has the D as the root, the F♯ as the major third and the A♯ as the augmented fifth. With the D augmented 7th chord there's the addition of C as the minor seventh.
