    The E augmented triad consists of the notes E, G♯ and B♯. The 2 inversions to the E augmented triad are G♯ B♯ E and B♯ E G♯.

    The E augmented 7th chord, abbreviated as Eaug7 or E+7, has the notes E, G♯, B♯ and D. The 3 inversions to the E augmented 7th chord are G♯ B♯ D E, B♯ D E G♯ and D E G♯ B♯.

    In the root position, the E augmented chord has the E as the root, the G♯ as the major third and the B♯ as the augmented fifth. With the E augmented 7th chord there's the addition of D as the minor seventh.
