    The F augmented triad consists of the notes F, A and C♯. The 2 inversions to the F augmented triad are A C♯ F and C♯ F A.

    The F augmented 7th chord, abbreviated as Faug7 or F+7, has the notes F, A, C♯ and E♭. The 3 inversions to the F augmented 7th chord are A C♯ E♭ F, C♯ E♭ F A and E♭ F A C♯.

    In the root position, the F augmented chord has the F as the root, the A as the major third and the C♯ as the augmented fifth. With the F augmented 7th chord there's the addition of E♭ as the minor seventh.
